Default bad push?

My thinking was I didnt want to be in the big blind in a situation where I couldnt fold to a raise, so I decided to push here with any 2, which happened to be J8s. Im playing 10+1 and am usually very aggressive, but this seems overly so, any thoughts?

With your stack, you don't have many options here. This definitely isn't an "any two" push, but I'll take a marginal push with J8s here, simply because you need the chips. I don't expect Button or BB to fold a tremendous amount of the time though.

I think J8s is probably strong enough, but the other short-stack isn't the guy to push with any two. He doesn't have enough to lose. The stacks of 1000 and 1200 are your best targets.

Personally I think it's a clear push.

At this point I'm getting desperate and I'm pushing any suited face cards, any two face cards, PP, and suited connectors down to 54.

Pushing with any 2 sucks here. Pushing with J8s, I think, is pretty bad.

Don't get THAT desperate. You need to be desperate, and I'd push any 2 from the SB, a very wide range of hands (including this one) on the button, maybe CO.

Edit: Wow, J8s from MP with 5x BB? I need to get more desperate with my pushes...

I'd much rather push from C0+1 here than from the Button.

From the button you are pushing at a big stack who will call with a very wide range. His range will be much tigher from the SB, whether it should be or not.

Agree or not? anyone.
