how often do you have a winning day?

Q1) i just was on a table where 5 players came on and stood up. is this a sign that i should leave the table too? i like to think they are leaving because of me. which could be true. haha

Q2) this is gonna be different for all the 2+2ers. im trying to figure out how often winning 2+2ers have good days playing 20-40 games.

I probably play ~20 SNGs per day, and I probably profit 80% of the time. However, this sample is so insignificant that it is unimportant.

I played 4 this week. Next week? 5? 3? 6?

I win most days.

If I had the link, I would refer you to Gigabet's post about Success vs. Failure. Unfortunately, I'm not at home, and I don't have it bookmarked (that and I'm too lazy to search). Anyway, losing days happen all the time. KNOWING that you are a +ROI player after a significant number of SNGs is enough to keep you going--eventually, your downswing will end, and you will be making real dollars again.

I typically break even most days but some days win 5-10 buyins. Somedays though, like today, I lose a 20+ buyins [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

i try and play 50+ games a day. on those "good" runs, i profit everyday. breaking even also isnt uncommon. losing is a little rare but it happens once every 10 days or so and im ready for it and its no big deal.
of course, you hit those bad runs where you break even/lose for a week, but usually its less than your profits from the week before
