Raise with a trash hand on the river?
This is from a multi tourny at PokerRoom. (Thats why it's not converted)
I was in the BB and checked my way to the end with a 73o. A seven Rivered This situation comes up often for me. Is it worth a value bet here or is it ok to check? Thoughts? Seat 2: chuckyj65 ($11,899 in chips) Seat 3: 43sparky ($12,575 in chips) Seat 4: goldroot ($8,295 in chips) Seat 5: IamLeach [7C,3H] ($6,316 in chips) Seat 6: duckworth1 ($8,032 in chips) Seat 7: pengwins ($4,950 in chips) Seat 8: trey480 ($8,815 in chips) ANTES/BLINDS goldroot posts blind ($300), IamLeach posts blind ($600). PRE-FLOP duckworth1 folds, pengwins folds, trey480 folds, chuckyj65 folds, 43sparky calls $600, goldroot calls $300, IamLeach checks. FLOP [board cards 4D,10C,10D ] goldroot checks, IamLeach checks, 43sparky checks. TURN [board cards 4D,10C,10D,5H ] goldroot checks, IamLeach checks, 43sparky checks. RIVER [board cards 4D,10C,10D,5H,7D ]

If it's checked to you...bet. If you get raised (someone's been patient enough to check trips twice)...dump it. But if this is a low-buy-in game your 7 could be a monster (and get called by a 4)

I don't value bet 73o here. No way in hell. Check-call is great here, IMHO.
