Default Counting Overcard Outs

Here's another hand where I had Overcards and I wasn't sure how many outs to give myself credit for. How many?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 3 folds, MP3 raises, 3 folds, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP3 bets, Hero folds, UTG calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, MP3 checks.

River: (4.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, MP3 bets, UTG folds.

Final Pot: 5.25 BB

good fold. given the flop and the bet out, you may already be behind. in on this flop i probably wouldnt even give 3 outs for your QJ

Not many.

The raiser could have AJ or AQ which would hurt you badly. Plus there are redraws to a possible STR8 or a better pair if he's got an A.

You have a backdoor flush draw to go along with your marginal overcard outs, I give you 3.75 outs.

Although your outs Js & Qs probably won't make someone else's hand better, the chance is slim to win the hand for you though. The board's too coordinated to hope they'll hold up esp with the betting - good fold in a smallish pot.
