This came at the tail end of a major losing session. I don't think I've ever come closer to throwing a tantrum than I was after this hand. I forgot about the other players early in the hand and thought at the time I actually might have lost money with the mortal nuts after the rake. It was one of those nights. Last night wasn't too fun either as I had 4 boats sunk in under an hour. Unbelievable.</font>

I'll look at the other hands later, but just looking at the first couple...
Yesterday you posted a hand where you capped the river with the non-nut flush on a paired board.
Now you're not capping with a full boat on a board full of straight &amp; flush possibilities? WTF

You need to find your raise button more often.

On hands where you have a third player tagging along, you don't have to have the winner very often to make a cap correct with a monster hand.

Yesterday all those hands were losers. Today some of them are, some of them aren't. Some of these are tougher than they look. I'll give a $5 to the first person who can guess which hands were good, which were no good and which chopped in all 10 cases. (hint there is one chop besides hand 11)

Anybody who can guess villian's winning holdings in all the hands I lost to gets $10.

Only one guess each and NO EDITS!

Well, there's a reason why posting results is discouraged, right?
I guarantee you're good in hands' 1&amp;2 far more than 33% of the time. In that hand yesterday, you're good less than 50% of the time after villian 3-bet.

Hand 1: I like. When 3-bet on the river I agree it's time to just call.
Hand 2: The 3-bet is again a surprise here, I like not capping again.
Hand 3: I'm going broke here. If I'm against pocket queens or Q9/Q2/Q5 so be it, I think trips are much more likely.
Hand 4: This one is close - I would be tempted to put in another bet, but since you check/3-betted the turn and he's still not slowing down calling is probably ok.
Hand 5: I 3-bet preflop typically but calling to keep him aggressive is good too (although sometimes I find against this kind of player they will put you on a "steal" when you reraise and you make a bundle). I think betting and check/raising are close here on the river.
Hand 6: "There are two flush cards that beat me on the river and I just call. Can somebody please locate and return my balls?" lol - yeah I think you need to raise here
Hand 7: Looks good. Your read appears accurate of mp although kings are still a possibility (as he could be scared of the q/7). I think you're up against 2-pair or trash often enough to call this, but I think raising would be too risky as even maniacs get cards sometimes
Hand 8: I think this is fine preflop. I think I would 3-bet the river as I doubt he gives you credit for an 8 and could easily be playing a ten this way.
Hand 9: I think I would fold this on the flop. It's 3-way, you aren't closing the action and the pot is tiny. I don't think I want to fight over it with ace high and a gutshot. On the river I think you are up against 2-pair or a set a huge % of the time. You're only afraid of 46 here which is very unlikely so I would reraise 100% of the time.
Hand 10: Against a lag I think both of your cards are live here often enough (and the pot is large enough) to peel one off on the flop. Once the queen comes down there's no letting it go

I actually agree that capping hand 1 is the correct play. I have been really terrible at turn and river play so far at 6-max. When I'm aggro I get shown the nuts. When I'm passive I miss serious value bets. Part of the reason why I posted this group is that I consistantly make the wrong choices with big hands that are not the nuts to the point were I'm really lacking the confidence necessary to be successful.

First 5 or 6 hands, I see about a trillion bets you missed.

Okay, so you didn't win all of these. Sometimes you lose with monsters. But usually you don't. Throw your chips in there.
