[/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't even say *most* of the time here because they usually don't bet this turn after getting called in 4 spots and the board doublepairing. they *usually* check behind hoping to showdown A high cheaply on the river. however, typically the villians are betting some amount of the time here, so calling is better than folding.

Yeah you're right. But they are betting it frequently, or at least some of the time, and it's a possibility that you've been three-bet by 88 (or 77?) who certainly aren't checking behind on this turn.
