Default Heads up on the river

In my last session, I won 3 pots by showdown against one oponent. I was first to act and checked. I had middle pair or top pair with no kicker. Am I leaving too much on the table ny not betting on the river ?

If this opponent is probably on a draw, your play looks fine. However, if he gets to the river this much with a bad hand, he might be playing low pairs, and may pay you off, so it costs a fraction of a big bet (significant).

Yes. If you take three pots in the manner you describe then make
the adjustment to a more aggresive style with this player. Of course
the adjustment should be made after winning the first pot.
