Default Pocket 10s level 1 $11, can I get away from it?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) converter

MP1 (t800)
MP2 (t800)
Hero (t745)
CO (t800)
Button (t785)
SB (t785)
BB (t885)
UTG (t800)
UTG+1 (t800)
UTG+2 (t800)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, UTG+2 raises to t45, MP1 calls t45, 1 fold, Hero calls t45, 4 folds.

Flop: (t157.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)

UTG+2 bets t50, MP1 calls t50, Hero raises to t300, UTG+2 is all in for 705, MP1 folds, Hero???

It's t400 to me and I'm getting about 3-1. Gotta call the way I played, right? And what's a better way to play it?

At that point I think you have to call it (at an $11 game), and hope that you aren't up against trips. At a $215 this is an easy fold.

I'm not sure I agree with the preflop raise at level 1, at an $11. There's a strong possibility of some moron going all in behind you with random garbage, and forcing you to fold.

The level of the game is very important. At an $11 game like this, I would limp preflop and play the flop exactly as you did. But that's just me.

He didn't raise, he called the raise preflop. These hands are very tricky at all levels. I'd rather go the safe route and save my double up attempts for hands that I'm much more secure about. This means either just calling bets or raising a smaller amount and folding to a push.

You're getting 3:1 with an overpair. You can't fold here.
