Re: Overplaying pot odds?
I think this might actually be the right move. You certainly have enough chips to make this move and there is the potential to take 2 people out, I would make the same move.

Re: Overplaying pot odds?
i think this is a fold. your chance of winning the main pot here is quite small. also, if you keep 4 people instead of 3, you can abuse the bubble.

Re: Overplaying pot odds?
I figured if I lost I would have more bubble abuse I could inflict on the two stacks to my left (I had a big guy on my right) and if I won I'd have accumulated more chips than if I abused the bubble (since one guy was left with 700 so the bubble presumably wouldnt last very long).
Is my thinking flawed? |

[/ QUOTE ] oops, i didn't notice the other 5k stack guy. i'm used to party's 8k total. if you call and lose to button, he'll have ~2.7k. that's a little too much to really abuse b/c he can put a big dent in your stack. you can't abuse the 1k guy b/c he knows he needs to gamble. if you fold, 3rd and 4th will have about 1.7k and 1k, which makes them more abuse-able. |
