Default 10 handed v. 6 handed skill?

i was arguing with one of the t+t community members. he thinks shorthanded play requires more skill. My argument for 10 handed games requiring more skill results from a much larger hand range (assuming players play correctly)

I'd say that the two elements almost balance each other. You have to look at.

# of players =
1. more/less blinds seen/defended
2. tendency for other players to bluff
3. odds of getting paid off on big hands
4. more positional play (possible benefits?)
5. longer cold streaks (need more patience)

All in all, i think 6max takes a touch more skill/paying attention to player patterns but the potential benefits you can reap make it well worth it.
