Default Bellagio 15-30, 30-60...big difference?

any material difference in the quality of play between the 15-30 and 30-60 game at bellagio? I've had good success at 15-30 at bellagio, and have stepped up to 30-60 online...plan on playing 30-60 at the bellagio when i go. In general, i've observed that in the 15-30 game to be relatively beatable with general solid predictable play with our occasional tourist hump here and there. can the same be said for 30-60? I assume no...but i though the same thing when i went from 8-16 to 15-30.

i've been playing at the Wynn exclusively since it opened.

however when i was playing in the bellagio 30 almost everyday it was very beatable. It's more aggressive and more loose in my opinion than the 15.

Hey quadT,

My knowledge is about five years out-dated, but FWIW the 30 games used to have generally more "live" ones than the 15 games. I often found that while the good players at the 30 tables were very very good, the bad players were worse than the bad players at the 15 tables. Again, take with a large grain of salt, since I haven't played there in many years.

it depends on your style. Its loose passive versus tight aggressive, though on the weekend the 30 is occasionally loose aggressive. I prefer the 30 just because of my style and the game can be weak tight. both are very beatable

Huh??

The 30 game is usually much more aggro than the 15 game. There are usually plenty of donators in both of these games, but some pretty decent players sit in the 30.

I only play up to about $10-20 most of the time so you can factor that into my analysis.

Last time I was at Bellagio in January, I had about a 2 hour wait for the $8-16 so I spent a lot of time on the rail watching both the $15-30 and $30-60.

$15-30 played pretty loose, but not aggressive at all. Lots of four and five player pots with no raise. Raised preflop about 1/3 of the time, with 1 or 2 callers. Not a lot of folding to the blinds. Looked like a pretty soft game.

$30-60 on the other hand was very aggro, both preflop and postflop. At least 4 tight aggressives in the game, 3 major donators, and one hyper aggro guy who was kicking the crap out of the donators. One of the female donators tried to kick it into hyper aggro mode with subpar holdings and was getting hammered by the hyper aggro guy. The donators were limping into nearly every pot. I only saw one pot won by the tight aggressive players in the time I watched. Hyper aggro guy won about a quarter of all the pots and the donators won the rest(usually small pots).
