Default bubble call

$35+3 6-seater (pays final 2 only)

SB was noooooo help. One of thee most passive players I've ever met. He did not raise PF on the bubble ONE time. Furthermore, he folded to EVERY raise. So it was up to me to continually push the short stack...leaving him for dead on several occasions, only to double him up again (we've been on the bubble for more than 15min!).

To compound the problem, Button was very patient. He was only pushing w/ two overs, pairs, Adecentkicker, etc.

Granted, with only 2BB's left, his pushing range is pretty great here (and oh by the way, I called).

I'm getting 3-1, etc.etc.etc., I'm just curious for you ICM guys out there if this is an any-two call situation.

I lose, and we both have approx. T1600, my hand holds up and I go on to beat up on passive chip leader.

What do YOU do and why?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (3 handed) converter

SB (t5625)
Hero (t2540)
Button (t835)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

You have to call, don't you? It's like barely a minraise you're calling...

Easy, easy call. Pot odds my friend. And as a bonus, your hand is actually decent.

what is the payout ratio? my gut says call w any two. no matter how tight the small stack his, the range of hands hvae to go down pretty heavily. top 50% of hands at least, no?
