Are the 50s always like this? I am getting absolutely crushed because I'm being spite called left and right. 4 handed, the BB just called me with Q6 for 85% of his stack. WTH?

Sure, half the time they have better hands than me, but I'm pushing with crap so that isn't saying much. This is just a weird streak of games, right? It's driving me crazy and it makes my bankroll hurt.

ive been gittin pwned all day by calls like youre talking about. i swear the weekend 55s cant be better than the 11s. im movin up for the day.

The same terrible calls occur at the $33s. To make matters worse, I can't get my AK v A5 to hold up. That being said, grind away. What's important is knowing that you're playing right.

With regards to the Q6 call. If villain, thinks he knows you're pushing crap, you need to remember that part of their psyche is to think, "you're bluffing, I call." Not, I know you're bluffing, but I still got crap so I fold.

When you're in these types of games, you've got two choices, IMO. One is to be far more patient than usual (my general approach). Or, you need to play more post flop. Remove the preflop only game strategy.

Later in the game, there's a lot to be said for having a very tight table image. Stay out of pots early. Develop an image.
