Is there a better way to do this?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter
UTG ($42.5) MP ($21.8) CO ($54.65) Button ($30.25) Hero ($75.3) BB ($64.53) Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.25. UTG calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero (poster) completes, BB checks. Flop: ($2) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1.9</font>, BB calls $1.90, UTG calls $1.90, MP calls $1.90. Turn: ($9.60) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $6</font>, BB folds, UTG calls $6, MP folds. River: ($21.60) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> Hero checks, UTG is All in ($30.00 or so), Hero folds. Final Pot: $21.60 Should I make a blocking bet on the river? Or should i just check fold (my line) |

Re: Is there a better way to do this?
I'm done with the hand as soon as I get four flat callers on the flop, especially when the turn makes a straight or 2 pair likely. Check fold from there. I'm not investing money to push out a flush draw when OOP and probably behind.
BTW if the turn was a brick (say 3h) I'd probably follow your line. |

meh, check/fold the turn. you took a stab at the flop, nice job, but you got 4 callers on a draw heavy board. i'm not putting another cent in.

Re: Is there a better way to do this?
I don't think the turn bet is that bad but I think you definitely saved money by check/folding the river. Nice.
