Default KQo on the button

Villain is a calling station, sees most turns if not most rivers. Likes to "see what you have"

Should I have still done my 3bet here (I was intending from the get go to bet/raise. Should I be fearing a JT at this point?

Turn: (8.20 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
MP1 checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP3 calls.

Ok, maybe no JT, everyone went passive.

River: (11.20 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
MP1 checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls, MP1 folds.

Ok, he woke up again. I just grit my teeth and called.

I see no problem with your call here. The only thing to fear here is the straight. The betting pattern is strange. Maybe he was slow playing a straight.

i think MP3 might have 56, giving him a gutshot on the flop and he was raising for a free look at the turn and river (cause hed fold it unless he hit). when you 3bet him he figured he wasnt getting a free card and check/called instead and then bet the river when he hit.

Nice hand. I don't see any other way to play it. The villains raise is a little scary because he is passive. Sometimes you will see him show down JT here but there's nothing you can do about it.
