It was five four of spades. Shouldn't have been in other hands.

I think "Five-our of spades" was the phrase that actually came into his mind at the time and is not a typo. I think he was just as confused by it as we are. Actually the whole article has the feel of a dream sequence. Perhaps this is a passage from the upcoming 2+2 release: Sklansky, the Acid Years.

I demand a re-edit.

I think Sklansky is saying that everyone is so distracted by the fact that there are two 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]'s showing, that they will not notice that the 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is in Jason Lester's hand.

Thus, Sklansky knows that his opponents in the hand will possibly put him on 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

What I can't tell from the article is whether Sklansky thinks Jason Lester also won't notice, since the 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is actually in his hand, or if he is just referring to what David Oppenheim may be putting him on.

Why not just correct the typo? It shouldn't be hard.
