Default leak in my game need help!

I feel like always wanna slow play a really good hand to get as much value out of it as possible and end up losing the hand..or splitting like in this hand..i know i should have def raised alot more and the minraises were horrible, but i was hoping for a reraise! I feel i do this a lot and is a big leak in my game. please help any suggestions are appreciated!

UTG calls t15, UTG+1 calls t15, UTG+2 calls t15, 5 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (t72.50) 8, 8, 6 (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t15, UTG calls t15, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, SB calls t15.

Turn: (t117.50) K (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t15, UTG calls t15, SB calls t15.

River: (t162.50) K (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t165, UTG folds, SB calls t165.

convertter doesn't show final result..
hero has A9c (full house 8's full of k's)
villain has 10,8 (full house 8's full of kings)
split pot
Final Pot: t492.50

I'm guessing this is an 11? With five people in this pot, I'm okay with losing some on the flop -- I'm interested in building a pot, not sweetening it for every junky draw in the world. If I felt like they were aggressive, I'd go for the check-raise. If not, since no one raised preflop, I'm betting out around 50.
