Default $55s - Simple 3-Handed Push

My image is ok, Villains' calling standards appear pretty typical. I pushed this, but maybe I should slow down a bit ITM...

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (3 handed) converter

SB (t1935)
BB (t5185)
Hero (t2880)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

With 7BB, I fold this quite quickly.

I havent played enough in the 55s but in the 11s against the right ppl this is an easy push. I dunno if in the 55s we have such tight-weakies that can easily be run over ITM.

Pushing this in the $11s is probably a mistake, too. You better REALLY know your opponents.

Yup. What sort of calling range would you say is typical here? 55+ A7+, KQ?

Against that range ICM says you can either push or fold. I tend to lean towards the former 3-handed as the blinds eat you so quickly. I do think I should ease up though...

Well, how much have you pushed? If you've pushed a lot of hands (like this one), the calling range is going to be much looser.

Ok, how about this one. I pushed without a second thought. Blinds are going up on my SB. Its dead even on the ICM if I use 77+ and A9o+, which sort of surprised me. (not that it should as I'm behind everything if called, A7s just looks so pretty)

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter

BB (t2665)
Hero (t1470)
Button (t3375)
SB (t2490)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
