Default Playing QQ when down to four?

First post, apologize for incorrect format.

Party 10+1 SnG

Short stacked with four players left.

Pocket Queens on the big blind.

UTG goes all in with about 1.5 times my stack.

UTG+1 fold.

SB fold.

What do I do? I know to play very tight when down to four. QQ is usually a good hand, and I really need some chips to keep making blinds.

It was probably wrong, but I called to find his KK and was done for the day.

Generally for a post like this, you'll want to include the stack sizes of all four players, the amount of blinds, and any reads you have on the players. In this case, it's not likely to matter, you were correct to call and unlucky to run into KK.

EASY call, particularly as the short stack. You ahead here almost every time. This time, you just got unlucky.

I was kinda erked and didn't get the breakdown on the tourny. I just shut the comp. down and walked away.

If memory serves:

Big Blinds were 300-ish

I was short stacked at 1200

UTG was at about 1800 and was playing loose/aggressive even at four.

Other two were in the 2500 chip range.

I've been playing 10/1 following the "Beating Party $10+1" guide and learning quite a bit, which is my objective. I don't plan on making any money until I'm more experienced. I know I shouldn't get hung up on one bad beat, but for some reason this one just got under my skin.

qq 4 handed is an absolute monster. there would be VERY few situations where you wouldn't call so exact stack sizes don't even matter here.

When a hand goes like this, you gotta calm yourself down so you don't get too jittery and accidentally fold.
