Someone please help with this question
I recently opened an Empire acct to get rakeback. It came with the $100 deposit bonus. I just checked to see why I haven't gotten it, and it said I had only played 27 of the required 500 raked hands.
I was under the assumption that I could get the bonus playing SNG's. So, I was wrong, right? I must play some cash games for the next 2 hours. Right? |

Re: Someone please help with this question
AFAIK, you can't clear these bonuses by playing SNGs. It may be possible on other sites, though.

Re: Someone please help with this question
Complete guess here, but have you played 27 SNGs? Maybe each SNG is 1 "raked hand" so to speak...

Re: Someone please help with this question
All sites I know require raked hands for bonus. Therefore no SNG. I basically bore myself playing low stake cash games to get the bonus, surely there are now enough SNG specialist players that we should be able to chnage this?

Here goes 3 hours of limit cash games. *snore* Thanks for the replies. |

Re: Someone please help with this question
SnG's don't count as "raked hands"...You will be surprised how quickly you will clear the 500 raked hands if you play a quick ring game like low-limit NLHE...B-T-W the bonus will be deducted from your first rakeback payment

I would hope. Oh, well. Here goes 3 hours of limit cash games. *snore* [/ QUOTE ] If you can play 7 stud, my understanding is that because you ante every hand you participate in every raked pot, and most pots will end up passing the rake threshold. Thus 7 stud is supposed to be a pretty good bonus clearing game from what I've heard, though I don't have experience with that particular aspect of it. |

Re: Someone please help with this question
You can clear bonuses on Poker Stars playing tournaments. Nice bonus for SNG players.

Re: Someone please help with this question
Pokerroom and its skins allow bonuses to be worked off using SnGs.
