Default Someone please help with this question

I recently opened an Empire acct to get rakeback. It came with the $100 deposit bonus. I just checked to see why I haven't gotten it, and it said I had only played 27 of the required 500 raked hands.

I was under the assumption that I could get the bonus playing SNG's.

So, I was wrong, right? I must play some cash games for the next 2 hours. Right?

AFAIK, you can't clear these bonuses by playing SNGs. It may be possible on other sites, though.

Complete guess here, but have you played 27 SNGs? Maybe each SNG is 1 "raked hand" so to speak...

I've played a lot more than that.

All sites I know require raked hands for bonus. Therefore no SNG. I basically bore myself playing low stake cash games to get the bonus, surely there are now enough SNG specialist players that we should be able to chnage this?

Thanks for the replies.

SnG's don't count as "raked hands"...You will be surprised how quickly you will clear the 500 raked hands if you play a quick ring game like low-limit NLHE...B-T-W the bonus will be deducted from your first rakeback payment

If you can play 7 stud, my understanding is that because you ante every hand you participate in every raked pot, and most pots will end up passing the rake threshold. Thus 7 stud is supposed to be a pretty good bonus clearing game from what I've heard, though I don't have experience with that particular aspect of it.

You can clear bonuses on Poker Stars playing tournaments. Nice bonus for SNG players.

Pokerroom and its skins allow bonuses to be worked off using SnGs.
