No, I wouldn't push here, but this is a hand that DOES need protecting. I would raise the size of the pot and push any non-scary turn card.

Size of the pot is half my stack.

I think you're going to give up a ton of value here if you just push outright. Yes, a raise does leave you with just over half of your stack left, but pushing here just seems to be a waste.

If I raise half my stack in, I don't think I can fold on any turn then.

Where are you from in Lancaster? I am from Lancaster...

WRT to the hand. Why are you playing scared? It's a 2 flush. Raise to pot. If someone reraises, push. Push a non-scary turn.

(Unless you don't like making money on good hands.)

300 is not half of 800. I don't think you want to push though and scare Jx of his hand so i think you have to bet 225-275 here and then look the push the turn.

Remember also that this is a $20+2, a perfect turn card for villain might not even give him a better hand than yours.

If they've got the flush, they've got the flush. Deal, you're probably your stack. Need to get a bit of value with the set while protecting your hand. Raise to 300.
