Default Pushing too much late get you busted?

Dont have a hand history but in general when on the bubble and your less then the 10xBB and you have a short stack limper, is pushing wit 1010 is correct?
Why i asked was i pushed got the bb to call wit AQ and he called wit his QQ. Luckily me i busted them wit my trip 10. Is there ever a point where you see this limp and you might think trouble? Or a time to just slow it down?
This was at the 10/1 btw.

With under 10 BB, I'm putting my money into the middle with TT under virtually every situation possible. Obviously there will be spots that you will not, but against any number of limpers my money is going into the middle. You really want that 2.5+ BB going into your stack and if you get called you will be the favorite to double up (played out over an infinate number of hands).
