Overpair on level 1, leading the action OOP
How do play this preflop, on the flop, and on turn? What is your move on the river? Why?

Re: Overpair on level 1, leading the action OOP
I would put him on either non-ace overcards, or broadway/9.
If he had A9, he should be protecting it. I doubt he has A10 (because of your two tens), I dont see him having AJ, AQ or AK, because these usually get raised in his position (assuming this is a 10+1). I think you are ahead here, but the best play might be to try and induce a bluff. Take a few moments, and then check. If he bets, push. |

Re: Overpair on level 1, leading the action OOP
if you check he's probably only going to bet if you're beat. Almost every player is going to (correctly) check behind with a 9.
bet around t200, fold to a raise. IMO its highly unlikely that he will raise you here on the river without you beat. Theres also a good chance that you still have the best hand (since he probably has a 9) |
