By "botched" you mean "played it and ran into AK," yes?

Hero's got 10x BB, so it's push or fold.

Hero's got AJo, which is a very good hand to move all-in with.

But hero's UTG, and he has somewhat of a stack, and BB's only got 3.5 BB. This is pretty hard... I think I push, but I really don't know.

You don't have to push but at an $11 you may as well.

Tell me if this is ridiculous

If the BB just posted 100 of his 345 chips, he's prob goin all-in on this hand. Why not limp, let other limp, let the BB go all-in, and then reraise all-in yourself. If someone else raises before it gets to the BB you prob have to lay it down, but you could end up with a pretty profitable scenario - unless you think the big stacks will def call the reraise

This plan would work better if the BB wasn't an idiot that would probably fold anyway, which since this is a $11 is maybe 90% likely.

No, by botched I mean I put in 2.25 BB. Got 2 callers. Saw a 689 flop and check folded.
