Default Mid Pairs UTG

I've found that I really don't know how to play mid pocket pairs (77-1010) UTG or UTG+1 at a 7-8 handed table when blinds are relatively high and most people at the table have 10 blinds or less.

I realize that I don't have many chips to play with so seeing a flop could put a huge dent in my stack if I don't hit, but at the same time, if I were to push with them, I'd most likely be called by someone who has me dominated or at best I'd be in a coinflip situation.

How do I play middle pocket pairs UTG preflop and postflop at a relatively full table and everyone having 10BB's or less?
