How is there a way to misplay the river? You're giving him 4:1 to call with second best hand, it's fine. There's no other move to make. If he folds, it's got nothing to do with your bet size. You didn't push him out or anything. It's because he missed with QT or clubs.

Thats kind of what I was thinking but you always want a caller on that kind of hand. Thanks

Do you really think he'll call $4 into a $17 pot, but not $6? If he had any piece of the flop he'd be calling your all in. You didn't push him off of anything. The board is KKJJ4. If he has a Jack, he calls. If he has a King, he calls. Obviously he doesn't have a King, and Jacks full doesn't fold.

At this level there is really no telling but if he was on a draw then he isnt calling reguardless.

It's clear he was on a draw. May I ask how long you've been playing?

I hope that wasnt meant as an insult. But I have been playing for a little over 2 years now. Seriously playing for about a year. The reason I posted this hand is because I have misplayed quads on several occasions and wanted another oppinion. I personally thought it was solidly done but the people here are a lot better than myself and I like asking for help so I thought I would get a second oppinion. Hope this answers your question.

No, it wasn't an insult at all. I apologize if that's how it sounded. Don't worry, you played the hand fine.

It's not clear he was on a draw. A pocket pair would fold this river too.

You played the hand fine. Once you get called on the flop, it's great. Top set QQ-AA rarely gets paid, since you generally cripple the deck (set over set is cool though).
