Hand 1
Fold. I don't like to risk that many chips in level one especially on 10s with 2 others already in for 100. More often than not there will be overcards and unless you make your set you will have to toss it.

Hand 2
I probably wouldnt have entered the hand, but then i would probably have made a continuation bet on the flop, which could have been trouble in this case, or just checked it down.

1.) Folds. There will be better chances (read: later positions) and better pots (read: higher blinds) to call 1/8 of your stack off.

2.) I personally wouldn't check that flop. Bet your 250 there, and if he calls THEN you check/fold the rest of the way.
