Default Please Help with my Vegas/WSOP Trip Plans!

I've decided to come to Vegas for a few days, during which I plan to participate in one of the early WSOP events. Being on a tight budget, I found a good airfare/room deal staying at the New Frontier Casino on the strip. I know it is old and probably seedy, but I don't plan to spend much time there! I would appreciate help in deciding whether to rent a car. Can you please describe my public transportation options for getting to other strip casinos and to the Rio (where the WSOP will be)?

Thanks!

Around how much would a cab ride cost from the Frontier to Bellagio or to the Rio? I'd rather rent a car if it would not cost much more. I thought there might be free shuttles or monorails along the strip.

PS: Is that a mouse boinking a mouse?

If you plan on getting off the strip at all, then rent a car. Otherwise, just cab around.

Typical cab fare is around 10-12 bucks if I remember correctly.

Didn't spend any time around the Frontier.

One end of the strip to the other end in moderate traffic was about $15..again, if I remember correctly. I was pretty drunk/tired the entire time I was in vegas.

Seriously, though, try posting this in the B& M Cardrooms forum, they'll likely have the answer for you much faster more accurate than me.

And yes, it is indeed a mouse boinking a mouse.
