Default Today I learned the most important lesson in poker....

This is readless, I was 8-tabling and had sat down about 5 minutes ago.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (10.33 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
UTG+1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, UTG+1 folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 caps</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (9.16 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (15.16 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 23.16 BB

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 9c 9d (four of a kind, nines).
MP2 has Qs Qc (full house, queens full of nines).
Button doesn't show.
Outcome: Hero wins 23.16 BB. </font>

For content: Who plays the flop differently?

edit: Oh damn I suck. When I was playing I thought I had raised preflop and he had called. I should stop 8-tabling.

I do. Without a read, i think there is virtually no chance that you are ahead. I call, and fold the turn ui.

Nice hand though.

peace

I didn't know he 3-bet preflop, and it felt like someone trying to put me off overs.

I knew I was gonna hit those 9's though, so it was ok either way.

Because I knew I would catch, DUH.

But seriously, I agree with (and usually play) your line. I'm just getting into 8-tabling and it's taking me a bit to adjust. Right after I 3-bet I thought "oops"... then he capped.
