TWOPLUSTWO --- top secret?

My sister was in a touranment and got reamed by someone because she mentioned 2+2 in the chat window, calling it bad ettiquette, showing people a gold mine etc.

Anyway I'm not sure if it's a normal thought on this forum that 2+2 has to somehow remain top secret, but I think it's pretty pathetic. Ok I don't particularly want the whole world reading it, but I'm not so scared of some people finding it either.

Is this normal? Any thoughts?

Never understood it myself, it still takes a lot of hard work to find the good stuff, and anyway the noobs might wander into SSNL and unlearn everything they ever knew.

I think the whole idea of 2+2 being a secret club is stupid. Most of the people on 2+2 aren't even winners. People who post here aren't part of some secret cool club. You aren't special for posting here.

That said, don't do around posting in all the chatboxes "There's this cool site twoplustwo.com go there". Your sister didn't deserve to get "reamed" but generally I would avoid mentioning it.

lol. I was criticized after this guy got upset that he was slow-called by a guy with AA and his etiquette rage unleashed. He called the guy an AA-hole for teasing him and told him he'd get bad karma. That's when he told me off, so i didnt take it too personally. Earlier I had said that I might post a particularly interesting hand from the tourney. I figured if anyone involved was a poster, it might be fun for them to join the conversation. Make sense?
