Default downloading music

Where do you guys get your music?

I am looking for a place to download music that:

-does not have any spyware, viruses or any crap of the sort
-has a very large and thorough selection of music
-is easy to find music and has fast downloads
-legality doesn't matter, but i don't mind paying if the stipulations cannot otherwise be met

I just tried downloading napster's free trial, only to discovery they have virtually no music. Thanks to anyone with suggestions.

i use limewire. the spyware isnt bad at all. i dont get any ugly applications starting up on my computer, because i have spybot teatimer. if you really want spyware free, then limewire pro is probably good for that. i dont know though, they might throw in spyware without your consent anyway.

You can use the free LimeWire to download LimeWire Pro.

Likewise, you can use the free BearShare to download BearShare pro.

I, of course, have never done this, but I hear tell of people who have.

i've tried this, but can't find any good sites. Can you suggest any? My biggest problem has been finding a good selection and an easy place to download from. Are there no spyware or virus problems with this?

I just use iTunes. I don't mind supporting the artists I like and it's still a lot cheaper than buying CDs.

It's not like anyone here can't afford it, either.

iTunes has respectable quality (certainly better than Kazaa or whatever) and I don't have to worry about a) finding songs b) spyware or c) leaglity.
