CO is 23/6/2.67
Button is the reason I'm at this table Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero calls, 2 folds, CO raises, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls, Hero calls. Flop: (8.50 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) BB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, Button calls, BB folds, Hero calls. Turn: (7.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, CO bets, Button calls, Hero calls. River: (10.25 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, CO bets, Button calls, Hero raises... Final Pot: 17.25 BB After his flop raise I'm thinking AQ, AA, KK, QQ, TT, maybe KQ, JJ, 99. Was almost thinking fold the turn UI. Is this too passive? So I changed my mind, called, and hit the straight. Do you like this check-raise? I'm not worried about hearts, that seems too unlikely. Am I right that most of the time here I just sucked out? |

I would raise PF. The rest looks fine.

Raise preflop.
I like the river c/r because the backdoor hearts draw came in, which makes it less likely that you'll get 3-bet if you're up against an overplayed AK. Plus, it allows you to trap Button for an extra bet (although I'm assuming by your read that he's calling 2 as easily as 1 with any made hand here). It's also possible that CO will simply fold a weaker hand if you bet out here. I'm not folding this hand on the turn; I have to think that you have 6 good outs, if you're not ahead already. |
