KK...Easy fold?
NLH SNG on Party .. I am button with KK. Blinds 10/15. Everyone folds to middle player who raises to 30. CO calls and I bump it to 80. The blinds fold, MP and CO call. Flop is 8 10 A rainbow. MP bets 125. CO folds. What do I do?

Re: KK...Easy fold?
Weak-tight of me, but fold, he has either J9 and making a move on you or he most likely has an A.
Raise to 100 pre-flop. |

Re: KK...Easy fold?
First off what level of SnG is this?
Second you need to raise more pre-flop since you want to get this heads up. You should be raising 3-5xBB and you should add (about) one BB for every limper. So with two limpers your raise should have been at least 4-7xBB. Pre flop it should have been 120-200. I think I'm folding here unless you have a very good read on MP that he would bet a pair of tens or a straight draw with something like J 9. Without any reads I think you're beat and have to fold. |

Re: KK...Easy fold?
Yea, I probably should have raised more preflop. It was a $10 SNG. I was almost certain he had an ace, but J 9 is a possibility.

Re: KK...Easy fold?
You flat out defined your post-flop play with that smallish pre-flop bet. Fold to any A on the board and a bet in front of you.... Your pre-flop bet made it easy to get away if an Ace hit from and that's what you need to do.

In addition, folding here helps you avoid tilt because you don't see him show A3o for the win! |
