Default Moving Car From MA to CA

I'm moving to CA for the summer and want my car there, really don't want to drive it, any ideas on how to get it there?

I looked into shipping mine by truck last summer. It's ~$750--$1000 depending on the quality of service (door-to-door, do you want it covered, speed, etc.) Driving is cheaper, and more fun.

Moving company. You can either ship it by boat (may be cheaper but takes a long time), or pay some guy to put it on his semi-truck. Basically, call a moving company, they do this stuff all the time.

I looked into moving mine from CA to MN and it was going to be like 1500. Not worth it imo.

my friend got his car shipped for ~900 from sacto to DC. the time frame was 10-14 days for delivery. and he loaded his trunk up with tons of crap, so he basically got free shipping for all of his gear.
