Default 2 good ole joyrides with AK

AK lovely hand, sometimes u get lovely situations and then sometimes u get cuckolded.

Now hand 1 I dont think theres much wrong in the way of it. Hand 2, probably should have checked the turn, but once he checks to me I was a bit thrown off, didnt expect that. No specific reads (not enough hands) but villians are both loose, Hand one villian has some aggressive tendecies...Hand 2 opponents are the same, with UTG+1 being a bit more passive.

Hand 1: I think this is good. I'd probably bet the river if the third spade hadn't fallen, but check/call when it hit, like you did.

Hand 2: Like you mentioned, I'd check that turn too. His flop raise probably says he connected with the board somehow. You still haven't, so I'd take the free card.

River raise from a passive player would concern me, but I think you can't fold TPTK getting about 8:1.

Yeah Im not a big fan of my hand 2 by any means. I think a river fold is a must. But when I hit the low limits, I find Im a liberal caller (not preflop, but right around the turn or river)...I really have to focus on treating the games down there like I do ones a bit higher up.

These numbers are rough as I just lost all my databases last week do to a faulty laptop hardrive.

But for the Pokerstars BR project right now I am at

WTSD:42
W$SD:59

On the higher limits Im about 38-45ish on showdowns with a W$SD being about 60ish percent. But thats over only 5000 hands. This is all from memory though so it may be a little off.

Sucks losing your info.

You're running embarrisingly good with both those stats very high.

Mines at WTSD: 33%, W$SD: 52%, which is normal.

You're going to showdown way to much.

I think both of these hands depend primarily on the type of players you're up against. Honestly, even with AK in that second hand, with a bet and a raise in front of you, I fold this unless I have some reason not to (i.e. reads). Hand 1 could go either way.
