Default Info on Tunica

CAn any give me info on the lowlimit scene in Tunica, as well as any daily or weekly tournys. I cant seem to find decent info online and would like to have a good game plan without calling all the casinos(long distance) to find out. Thanks

The Grand has small buy-in tournaments. M-Th 12 and Tues 6pm $5 buy-in $15 rebuys and $25 add-on. The Grand spreads 1-5 stud, 3-6 Omaha Hi-Lo, 4-8 hold'em, and 10-20 hold'em (15-30 on the weekend). The Horseshoe spreads 10-20 and 20-40 hold'em. Sam's Town and the Hollywood also have rooms, but I am not familiar with what games they spread. The Gold Strike has a poker room, I cannot recommend playing there because they owe me about $90 from the WPO last Jan.
The Grand's 800 number is 800-WIN4WIN ask for the poker room (I forget the extension). Yo can recieve a comped room (1 night) with 40 hours of play; also you can get the casino rate with play and if you play 15-30 you can receive a free room on Fri or Sat with 7 hours of play (I think that is the red chip deal). Hope this helps.

I am currently living at the Horseshoe in Tunica. The room rate is $25 and the buffet and snack bar are free. I play 20-40 but there seems to be muliple low limit games running around the clock. You need to talk to Theresa (call during the day and ask for the poker room) to make reservations at that rate. Sometimes weekends are tough, so call ahead if possible. Look for a 23 yr. old kid and say hi when you get here.

BTW This is by far the friendliest room I have ever played in, and I've played in more than 40 rooms.
