Default Best way to play this short handed flush draw?

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, Hero calls.

Flop: (7 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (3.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: (3.50 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 5.50 BB

Full table just fell apart, SB is 35/5/.8 through 20 hands.

3-bet/flop check felt fishy to me. Going for a free card would've made it extra expensive if I were wrong.

I'd bet the flop every single day.

If you get check-raised, it isnt the worst thing in the world, you still have 9 outs to the best hand.

You need to be much more aggressive, or 6max will eat you up.

I'm a much bigger winner in 6max than full table and I would bet this often vs. strangers. I just have a very different mindset in what was once a full ring and this person struck me as a little bit passive, although in relatively few hands.
