Default Steal attempt - flop 2 pair into flush board

Okay, here is a place I'm really lost Blinds are 50/100.

I go for the steal attempt, get called by the BB.

I hit a top and bottom pair on the flop but it brings a flush.

What's my best line here for the flop? and then possibly the turn river?

Seat 6: morphus007 ($2,305 in chips)
Seat 7: minplen ($1,490 in chips)

Definite raise here, I'd make it about 600. I'd probably also fold preflop.

I don't like the preflop action because of three things: 1. You're still a bit out of position to be pulling a steal, 2. The stacks are deepish, so it's pretty unnecessary, and 3. The 2.5xBB raise will get called a lot by one or both of the blinds.

Postflop, I agree with lastchance.

I see your point on the 2.5x BB bet - but why is the CO too early to try this?

Or do you mean too early in the game?

I don't like this preflop at all because you have no need to steal these blinds and might as well maintain a tight image for when the blinds actually matter to you
