Default Best tasting economy wine?

Please share the best tasting economy wine/champagne (<$10) you know of that can be found at Safeway, Rosauer's, etc..

with a small sample size, mine is Sutter Home- Moscato

Columbia Crest Chardonnay isn't bad, if it has to be under $10

Smoking Loon's Cabernet Sauvignon would be a reasonable contender as well. You can find a number of decent Spanish and Australian reds in that price range too, but that might require going to a wine store and asking someone.

I was the opposite of impressed with their merlot, no taste whatsoever. I'll have to try the one you mentioned.
