Default Stop n go?

This was a $50. Was this a good spot for a stop and go? Should I just muck this hand? Blinds were going up in two hands, also.

Default Re: Stop n go?

I wouldn't do a stop-n-go here. Reasons:

1. UTG+1 minraised from poor position. Could be a monster. Unlikely he was just trying to steal the blinds. He probably has a hand, and he has enough chips to call you fairly comfortably.

2. You are not desperate yet. You will have 612 chips after folding. You have a lot of fold equity, and a lot of hands before the blinds hit you again.

3. Would you consider a stop-n-go if you had been dealt 72s? Because A3s is almost as bad, I think. Actually, 72s is better than A3s against a lot of hands that UTG+1 might have.

oh god no! It would be very hard for utg+1 to fold this one. And if he does call your almost defo drawing to your lone ace or dominated by a bigger ace but then again they are suited which as we know is the nuts on party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'd fold, you're going to have some more favorable spots coming up shortly and can still cause damage w/ 700.
