Default this noobs 2nd attempt..

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (4 handed) converter

BB (t1992)
UTG (t3136)
Button (t1362)
Hero (t1510)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of t300.
2 folds, Button raises to t600, Hero (poster) raises to t1510 (All-In), Button calls t762 (All-In).

Flop: (t2872) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Turn: (t2872) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: (t2872) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t2872

Should I have seen this as an attempt to get me to push or as $11 weakness (miniraises in the lower levels w/ KJ, QTs etc)?

He had QQ.

Just fold. You're a coinflip or dominated all the time.

I really don't like this push. There is almost no chance button will fold to your raise, and the best you can hope for is overcards.

He bet almost 50% of his stack. This typically means "I want to get my whole stack in, but I don't want to scare anyone off."

Once he puts in 1/2 his stack, there is no chance of him folding. It doesn't matter if it's a minraise or 5xBB raise.

you have no FE over him, he's put 1/2 his stack in and you are 50 50 at best, if not a big dog. fold.
