Poll: Daytime play
I have time to play tomorrow. I'm debating between $20s v $30s any considerations would be appreciated.

Re: Poll: Daytime play
The $20 is always going to be softer than the $30.
Having said that, you should play the $30. |

Re: Poll: Daytime play
I guess I didn't need a poll for this, its almost a useless question. I'm confident in being able to beat the $30s during peak hours, especially Fridays, yet haven't made the $30s my homestay. Are the $30s daytime play extremely difficult relative to peak hour play?

Re: Poll: Daytime play
I don't have much experience playing during the day, but I'm pulling a marathon session to try and fix my sleep schedule. I'm trying to play 125 $30s 4-tabling... 80 more to go. There seem to be just as many bad players so far, but more calling stations and less maniacs. People have made some of the strangest calls I have ever seen today:
Blinds 50/100: I have just under 600 chips and open push from the SB with 33, the BB with about 1000 chips calls with J8o... pretty quickly too. Blinds 50/100: 4 players left, I have about 500, two people have about 1000 and the chipleader has about 5500. I have AJo UTG and I push... chipleader is in the big blind and calls with 42o. Blinds 100/200: I push for about 700 from the Button with KTo, the BB with about 1000 calls with 32s. It's a small sample size though so it's tough to say if the games are really much different. |

Re: Poll: Daytime play
Tends to be a bit tighter during the day. You'll get into the later levels with more players, creating a crap shoot at the end.

[/ QUOTE ] It is remarkable the number of players who forget that even if they correctly put you on a steal they still have to win the hand. The ability to say, "I knew you had nothing!" had better provide some sort of psychological reward, because their 42o is in trouble against your K4o. It's as if instead of playing their only their own cards (as is usual), they are playing only your cards. |
