Default Bubble button push with junk

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter

Hero (t1000)
SB (t2610)
BB (t1510)
UTG (t2880)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to t1000 (All-In), SB raises to t2610 (All-In), 1 fold.

Flop: (t3810) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Turn: (t3810) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: (t3810) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t3810

We'd been on the bubble for 9 hands. I'd pushed once previously with A7 - also on the button when I had 2.5BB. The BB called that hand with Q7. My increased FE with 5BB prompted me to push this one. Ridiculous play or not?

Without any history, this is an easy push for me.

What did you show when you got called by Q7?

I showed A7o.

Glad I'm not the only one (though we may be the only 2!) who would push here. My A7 push on the bubble was my only all-in in the entire tourney. I figured my image was good - I'd only played a couple of hands, both of which I took down with a bet on the flop after I'd raised pre-flop.

The other three left had played very solidly - perhaps a little tight if anything, except for the SB who had been more aggressive. All had folded to pre flop raises on the bubble.

Ah, I misunderstood your post. I thought you'd pushed once with A7, and then again on the button with 2.5BB.

What buy-in is this? I think A7 is good enough that you're probably not being called without a decent hand anywhere above the 11s (and probably even there). I imagine you just got unlucky here. Load up another.

Well if you'd known BB would call with Q7+ it becomes borderline negative, really. Doesn't seem an obvious push unless here were on a tighter calling range.
