2 pair against a 3-flush board
I always have problems playing those... What would you do here?

Re: 2 pair against a 3-flush board
I go ahead and push. There are a lot of scare cards out there, and you're probably still ahead.

Re: 2 pair against a 3-flush board
I always get paranoid that my opponent is on a flush draw in these cases, and when that card hits I never know what to do...

Re: 2 pair against a 3-flush board
As an aside, is it incorrect (pot odds-wise) to call such a pot-sized flop bet with any two hearts? What about with AhKh? I'm thinking it's definitely incorrect with any two hearts, but I'm not sure about the case w/AhKh since you have two overcard outs as well as the flush draw (especially if you've got a ton of chips to play with). I know it's kind of a dumb/basic question, but...
As for the OP's question, I (the uneducated rookie) think the correct play is to push, but I don't by any means always make it in the heat of the moment, and I'm not entirely sure what that my answer is a correct one. |
