Default Poker in Washington, D.C.?

...was wondering if anyone knew of rooms in the D.C. area? I've heard of a 5-10 in Maryland and a game that's supposed to be in the Watergate (10-20 ?) but at this point I'm trying to get a good home game and get into others. The Taj is about four hours away, and that's a long way for me...If anyone knows of any games, I'd love to know. Lower stakes the better...

My question exactly -- I'm more interested in mid-limit stakes but any poker will do. Is it against the law in this part of the country and are the "home games" safe? I'm interested in playing a couple of hours during the weekday evenings whenever I have to go there. I was bored to tears last week, and I may have to go again soon.
