Default Push here?

I'm still struggling with this part of my game. Any thoughts appreciated.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, 5/1, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) Blinds go up next handconverter

Hero (t880)
BB (t1160)
UTG (t3795)
MP (t1285)
Button (t880)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero ??</font>.

Final Pot: t1080

Push. If he calls your push with a loose range (22+, A2+, KQ, KJs) you gain $1.11 with this push (which is a lot for a single hand in a $6). Even if you put his range at any pair, any ace, any king, any queen it is +$EV.

This is the best spot to take advantage of a player who isn't as well educated as you are. Even if he knows you are willing to push with any two, he will fold his Q8 and call you an idiot.

Just be sure you don't tell him that if he knew you'd push with any two, he could call with T6o.

To all those who advocate a push, would you still push if BB was exhibiting that he calls just about anything?

btw, unless that is the case, i push.

if BB loves to call
$1.15 your $EV would fall
if with 74s you did shove
but, J8o would still get some love

BB wasn't calling everything. Result: He folded to my push.

Thanks all for your expertise.
