Am I Destined to go Broke?
55 SNG about five players left with blinds 50/100. I have T1500 and from cutoff make it T300 with red Jacks. Button, who has me slightly covered calls. Blinds fold. Don't have a real read on button.
Flop comes 7s6s2h I move in he calls and his Aces hold up. Hindsight is always 20/20 and if I make a pot sized bet on the flop, can I or should I get off the flop, if he moves all in. Somehow I think no matter how I play the hand I'll probably go broke because it's tough for me to put him on Aces. Comments appreciated Bruce |

Re: Am I Destined to go Broke?
i think a pot-sized bet would commit you anyway, so i dont think that would not be a good play. i think the way you played it is pretty good, I wouldnt have put villain on aces, maybe AQ or something along those lines. I would expect a raise from AA, KK or QQ. I think you played the hand fine, just got unlucky.

Re: Am I Destined to go Broke?
Don't be results oriented. If you have a big overpair and someone has a bigger one, you're likely to lose some change (unless you have a dead-solid read).
I bust this hand too. |

If you don't go broke here, you played it wrong.
