Default Dell 9300

Ok im in the middle of buying a 9300 and they are offering me 1024MB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2x512) OR 1024MB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM (1x1024) for the same price, does anyone know which one I should choose and why??

Unless you plan on upgrading in the future (which you probably never will, 1 GB is a LOT), just take the 2 x 512.

your laptop has 2 memory slots, if you select it all in one stick you will have room for future upgrades. but the chipset you're using supports "dual channel" memory, which doubles the bandwidth if you use 2 sticks. since it's highly unlikely you'd go for 2GB on that laptop i'd go with 2X512.
