random 2+2 webpage inner working question

i apparently once knew how to do this, but have forgotten:

on the "my home" part of the site, there's favorite threads, and thread reminders. i know how to set the reminders (the thingy at the bottom of every post), but i can't remember at all how to use the favorite threads thingy. more confusing is that i do have 3 things in there, and still no idea how i got them there.

man i hope that's vaguely intelligable.

so yeah, like, help, please.

When you view a thread, you can toggle favorite thread status on and off, at the bottom of the page.
