Coldplay Parachutes came out in 2000 as I recall.
I don't believe anyone had really heard of them before then.

Those guys can't be good enough for one nomination, let alone two.

If this includes any genre of music, there are only a few contenders. To not include the most successful artist of the 90s (Garth Brooks) would be a shame, especially with some crap named "Neutral Milk Hotel" being nominated.

Then again, I highly doubt this "tourney" will last long...but still....


Nirvana makes a lot of sense here too. But "Neutral Milk Hotel"??? To be the best band of the 90s, I think more than 3 people need to like them.
